Little Vundu is a tented camp located 1.5km upstream from Vundu Camp, on the banks of the Zambezi River, making it a perfect location within the boundaries of Mana Pools National Park. Little Vundu strives to provide you with an authentic and traditional tented camp safari experience.

If you are looking for a bit of adventure, then Little Vundu is just the right place for you! With its personal wildlife experience and genuine feeling of being in the African bush, it is hard to beat a safari at Little Vundu.

This personal and intimate semi-permanent camp has recently undergone a full refurbishment which includes new and spacious canvas tents, sized at 6m x 5m, each with an open-air, en-suite bathroom.

An iconic lodge located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, one of the most celebrated wildlife reserves in the world. The design of Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is inspired by traditional Maasai architecture, with thatched rondavel-style rooms which blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings. Each of the 65 “rondavel” bedrooms feature locally inspired designs with elaborately carved wooden furniture. Bedrooms are spacious with a very comfortable king-sized bed en-suite bathrooms, and private balconies that enjoy spectacular views. These are based on our personal experience of the hotel, camp or lodge and should not be compared against ratings you find elsewhere. We intend to guide you and don’t be put off by a low tent rating as some of our favourites fall into the 2 and 3-tent categories.​

It is also important to bear in mind that standards vary from country to country and a 4-tent hotel in South Africa cannot be compared with a 4-tent hotel in another part of the world.
