Nestled along one of the most breathtaking stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can observe wildlife from your veranda throughout the day in complete comfort. Ruaha is divided between two sites, one featuring a dining area by the river, and the other perched high on a nearby kopje, providing a wholly unique perspective. Crafted from local stone and thatch, the lodge is integrated with the natural kopjes and takes full advantage of its exceptional position along a bend in the river.

Ruaha River Lodge stands as the sole 'lodge' within Ruaha, boasting 24 stone chalets that extend along the riverbank - all with excellent panoramic views. Every chalet offers magnificent vistas from its spacious front veranda. Inside, the generous interiors encompass a cosy sitting area, a convenient writing desk, and a choice of twin or double beds. The rear of each chalet houses a sizable bathroom adorned with rustic timber, complete with a shower and double basins.
