KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal is our absolute favourite! And here is why...
This part of South Africa is so under-visited that we consider it our lifelong mission to share it with our fellow travellers! "KZN" brings together everything which epitomises South Africa, whether it’s sublime food, delicious wine, awesome scenery, a rich history and vibrant Zulu culture, game viewing, awe-inspiring vistas or seemingly never-ending golden sandy beaches. Plus Durban’s international airport is a secret gateway into the country.
From the seaside sprawl of tropical-feel Durban to the wild and untamed Indian Ocean coastline which stretches from the border with Mozambique to the South Atlantic, this is a starkly contrasting part of the country. Don’t miss a visit to the Zulu Battlefields where history is brought to life by the storytellers and makes an excellent combination with the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, or meander through the farming and artist communities and green hills in the KZN Midlands. There are also several excellent game reserves, where you can enjoy big game viewing, along with spotting a variety of species native to only this part of the country.
Laid-back, scenically beautiful, and easily accessible the colourful province of KZN offers a delightful blend of tropical vibes, stunning landscapes, excellent (and affordable) wildlife viewing as well as a diverse and vibrant cultural heritage. With so much to offer and relatively few tourists in comparison to other parts of the country, KZN is, ready to be explored. So let us share our secrets with you and plan a journey to the Zulu Kingdom.
